Last week we attended the Scottish Bar and Pub Awards, which took place on the 20th of August at the Hilton Hotel, in Glasgow. More than 500 of the Industry’s movers and shakers attended ‘The Greatest Showman’ themed awards ceremony. 

Overall, it was a great event to be a part of and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. As a key sponsor for the awards, it was brilliant to see people in the Scottish licensing trade have the opportunity to be rewarded for the excellent quality they are more than familiar with. 

Since its establishment back in 1995, the annual Scottish Bar and Pub Awards (formerly the DRAM Awards) is held to recognise and celebrate excellence within the Scottish Licensed Trade. With voting opening back in April, bars and pubs were able to nominate themselves, as well as customers being encouraged to vote for their favourites online. 

All-in-all it was a great night out to recognise the greatest bars and pubs in Scotland!
